Let’s get some answers…I’ll start with questions many of us have asked but if you have other questions NEVER hesitate to ask.

The first question many ask is how much does it cost? Plain and simple the cost of a kit is $99 and you choose $125 worth of products from any current catalog, Online Exclusives or if a new catalog preorder is available you can choose from those items, too! If you need help or want my thoughts, I’m always available to help you figure out what you might like. Oh, and you get FREE shipping on your order, it includes a FREE Paper Pumpkin, FREE catalogs to share with friends, all the paperwork you need to be ready to start taking orders IF you decide that is something you want to do.

The next question is often how much do you have to sell/buy? You don’t have to sell anything! IF you choose to sell and to keep your demonstratorship, Stampin’ Up asks that you sell or buy $300 every 3 months (or quarter) BUT you have almost 6 months to get that going. In other words, you can join just to get a discount (20%) or you can make it a business to earn on sales.

FAQS ABOUT BEING A DEMONSTRATOR
Q. WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM SALES REQUIREMENTS?
A. You only need to submit 300 CSV (Commissionable Sales Volume) in sales per quarter. In the USA this is $300. That is less than an average Stampin’ Up! workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still receive your 20 percent discount and commission (or 25 percent if you become a Bronze Elite title or above). Plus you get Stampin’ Rewards (of 10%) to use in the next year!
Q. WHAT IF I WANT TO DO THIS AS A HOBBY AND NOT NECESSARILY AS A BUSINESS?
A. Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business. If you choose not to hold workshops, you can simply place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the quarterly sales minimum.
Q. CAN I BE MY OWN HOST?
A. Yes, you can be your own host anytime you want. Invite your family and friends into your home and have a workshop. You will be the host, receiving the Stampin’ Rewards, as well as the demonstrator, receiving your instant income and commission.
Q. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET STARTED AS A DEMONSTRATOR?
A. The Starter Kit is only $99 USD and is fully customizable. You choose up to $125 USD worth of any current Stampin’ Up! products, and you will also receive a business supplies pack containing materials you need to run your business (valued at $35 USD).
Q. HOW CAN I MAKE MONEY AS A DEMONSTRATOR?
A. You can earn money in three ways: instant or deferred income (20 or 25 percent of each order), monthly volume rebates (4–13 percent of total monthly sales), and monthly team commissions (1–6.5 percent of your team members’ sales).
Q. DO I HAVE TO BUILD A TEAM OF DEMONSTRATORS?
A. No. But you can if you want to. If you were to build your team, you would be paid team commissions on your team’s sales; however, this is a perk, not a requirement.
Q. WHERE WILL I GET PROJECT IDEAS FOR MY WORKSHOPS? WHAT KIND OF TRAINING CAN I EXPECT?
A. Stampin’ Up! provides dozens of training resources on our demonstrator-only website and in our annual and mini catalogs. Demonstrator Support agents are also available to help you during business hours via phone or email. And as your sponsor, I help you in any way you need or want.
Q. IS STAMPIN’ UP! A WELL-KNOWN, RESPECTED COMPANY?
A. Absolutely!! Since 1988, Stampin’ Up! has been selling stamps and paper-crafting supplies. Q. WHAT IF I DECIDE THAT I DON’T LIKE IT ONCE I’VE STARTED? WILL I BE PENALIZED IF I QUIT?
A. You may choose to stop at any time, and you will not be penalized. You simply stop placing orders on your business and go back to ordering through me.
